Being reminded why I love where I live.

I recently went to see my GP. A doctor I chose, and at a time that worked with my hectic back to work diary.

I said I needed to renew my mental health plan and get my prescription refilled. We chatted about how I was progressing with my treatment and care, and I filled out the paperwork.

This consultation was free. My treatment with my psychologist, costs me almost nothing thanks to something called the Better Access Initiative. And I’m booked in for next week – I’m not waiting 3 months for an open appointment.

This is amazing, and in too many places around the world, unheard of.

I really do love where I live.

And I am really excited about doing more with this lovely blog of mine. I really, really am.
